Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the public and to
the committees' members, that the Citizens Advisory Committee and
the Technical/Management Committee, advisory committees of the
Regional Transportation Authority, will have joint meetings at the
above stated times and location. These meetings are open to the
public. The following are agendas of the matters to be considered,
discussed, and acted upon. The order of the agendas may be
changed by order of the Committees.
Agenda for June 17, 2005, 2:30 p.m.
Consideration and Discussion on the Regional Transportation Authority Plan. -- This
workshop will be facilitated by a professional group discussion facilitator. Committee
Members will discuss all elements and aspects of the proposed twenty-year comprehensive
Regional Transportation Authority plan, including, but not limited to: the transportation needs
of the community, transportation technology, transportation problems, goals, policies,
priorities, environmental impacts and possible mitigations, and alternative modes of
transportation. Possible revenue sources for and costs of the Plan's elements may be
discussed, as well as the roles and responsibilities of local governments in the Plan.
1. Registration 2:30 p.m.
2. Technical/Management Committee (TMC) Transit Report 3:00 p.m.
Recommended upgrades in transit services will be presented to the committees
3. Introductions 3:30 p.m.
Members of the TMC and Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will introduce
themselves
4. Breakout session 4:00 p.m.
TMC and CAC members will breakout in groups and discuss the benefits and
shortcomings of the proposed transportation plan
5. Social time and dinner 5:30 p.m.
6. Breakout session continued 7:00 p.m.
7. Breakout session reports to all members 8:00 p.m.
Summaries of the breakouts will be reported to the committees
8. Evening adjournment 8:30 p.m.

Two Committee Briefing Packets containing material related to the Meetings are available for
public review the day before and the day of the Meetings during office hours at: 177 N. Church,
Suite 405, Tucson, Arizona 85701 (520) 792-1093. The Briefing Packets are also available for
public review at the Meeting.
The Meeting Room is accessible to the handicapped. In compliance with the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA), those requiring special assistance, such as large-type face print, sign
