1. REGULAR SESSION AT OR AFTER 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Michael Gardner, Vice Chair
Ralph Stein, Commissioner

3. CALL TO THE AUDIENCE
KC Carter - Oro Valley Resident

4. APPROVAL OF THE JULY 21, 2011 MINUTES
MOTION: A motion was made by Commissioner Stein and seconded by
Commissioner Honn to approve the July 21, 2011 minutes with no changes.
Motion carried, 3-0.
5. UPCOMING MEETINGS AND EVENTS
-Staff to speak at a Construction Superintendents meeting on October 20,
2011 in Chandler, AZ, regarding SWUC the outreach program.
-State of the Town is on October 6, 2011 from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton El
Conquistador. Staff will email Commissioners for interest in attending,
and reservations will need to be emailed to Paul Jungen.
-Buffelgrass pulls to resume in October.
-Staff to attend AZ Floodplain Conference on November 2-4, 2011 in Payson,
AZ.
-Staff to attend Substantial Improvement meeting on September 20,
2011 in Clarksdale, AZ.
6. DISCUSS AND APPROVE STORM WATER CREDIT APPLICATIONS
-No credit applications to review or discuss.
-Staff to review upcoming applications and will report at next meeting.
7. DISCUSS STORM WATER FEE
-Staff in process of re-evaluating Stormwater fee. Interested Commissioners are
encouraged to participate in upcoming fee study.
8. DISCUSS ON-GOING STORM WATER PROJECTS
-Projects were reviewed and discussed.
-Lomas De Oro - completed. Tentatively rescheduled walk-thru on October 14,
2011 for the Lomas de Oro and Linda Vista projects with a back up date of
October 21, 2011. Staff and Commissioners to meet at 12:30 p.m. at the Lomas
de Oro box culvert site.
-To discuss and schedule at the next meeting for a mid November walk-thru of
remaining and upcoming projects for Pomegranate, Pistachio and Northern Ave.
-MS4 Permit.
-CRS package - completed and submitted for courtesy review
-Lomas de Oro - LOMR's.
-North Ranch basin study.
-Northern Ave - staff working on scope of work.
-Big Wash and Chaparral Heights - LOMR
-TOV Fleet Wash Rack
-Commissioner Honn requested copy of project spreadsheets, staff will provide
for future meetings.
9. SET OCTOBER MEETING DATE/TIME
Due to scheduling conflicts the next meeting is tentatively scheduled for October
13, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in Hopi Room. Staff will confirm location availability, and
will notify Commission if unavailable.
10. SET OCTOBER PROPOSED AGENDA ITEMS
The agenda for the upcoming meeting was discussed and approved with no
changes.
11. ADJOURN
MOTION: A motion was made by Commissioner Stein and seconded by
Commissioner Honn to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
Motion carried, 3-0.
