Isnt't it strange that when the County said that it would cost '4260,000 to contract services to the Town of OroValley, Mr. Brandon lepaitily agreed; when the County reduced this to $160,000 Mr. Brandon again agreed. Then on March 21st Mr. Brndon stateed that the udget would have to he at least 130,000. Now, a few weeks later he has the budget reduced to 93,000. A reduction of $167,000 in a matter of weeks would indicate that with a little more work # could still be educed sub- stantially. Br. Brundon critizes the budget figures submitted by minority council members. He has completely ignored these figures by changing them to suit his purpose, which of course is to frighten the residents into be- lieving these erroneous figures. The only contribution to the budget thst Mr. Brandon has secured is an attorney's fees. This can be done with one phone call. The pro-incorporators have many perple willing to work to make the Town succeed, but they will not work under the council majority as they have seen through the false statements, Inflamatory remarks, and general disregard of the facts by the majprity council members. It is also interesting to note that Mr. Holford, who told the Board of Supervisors and by inference Judge Mahoney, that he was "neutral". On all controversial issues he has voted with Br. Brandon and Mrs. Montgomery. and has in all ways indicated that rather than being neutral he is definetly anti-incorporation. If the Town is run into debt it will be entirely due to the majority council, as they have voted to spend all ?e-yReiERea4tiliagilgr ;Rg tsTown of Oro Valley allow thwr to remain in power yoi will indeed be likely to be assessed to make up a deficit.
