My wife, Ramona , and I built our home on North Riviera Dr .
in February, 1968. Since that time we have been actively
interested in the growth and development of our small
community and the welfare of it ' s children.
In efforts to help all our youth , as well as our own
children, Anthony 11, Michael 10, and Thomas 9, we
teach Karate classes under the auspices of Amphitheater
Community Schools . Our classes were conducted within
the confines of the proposed township for the past
three and a half years . My wife has also been active
with the Cub Scouts and shares my interest in community
affairs .
I hereby submit my name to be considered for appointment
to the Oro Valley Town Council.

of East Denver High School, attended Park College, Parkville
Missouri 2 years and Denver University 1 year. Worked as
receptionist-switchboard operator Adolph Coors Company, Golden
Colorado 3 years. Lived in Douglas, Arizona, Salt Lake City,
Utah and Tucson Arizona since 1962. In Tucson have worked as
Republican Headquarters volunteer; a charter member and record-
ing Secretary of the Northside You4g Republican Club actively
canvassing for the party 1962-1965 ; a Precinct Committeeman and
Deputy Registrar since 1970; worked election board 2 years.
Has been Area Chairman and Zone Chairman for American Cancer
Society Residential Crusade for the past 7 years. Board member
of Woman's Auxiliary to the American Institute of Nining,
Letallurgical and Petroleum Engineers in 1972. For 3 years
was a Cub Scout Den Nother, 1 year Cadette Girl Scout leader
and Junior Girl Scout Troop Treasurer in 1973. Publicity
Chairman for the Canyon del Oro Band Baton Twirling Contest
in 1972 and 1973. Presently is Chairman of Ladies 9-hole golf
Association, Zone Chairman for Cancer Crusade, Deputy Registrar
and Precinct Committeeman.

Born December 29, 1928, in Dodge City, Kansas.
He received his B.S. (C.E. ) and M.S. (C.E. ) degrees
from University of Colorado. He joined University of
Arizona faculty in September, 1958, and currently is
a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering.
He is a registered Professional Engineer and is a mem-
ber of the American Society of Civil Engineers ,
National Society of Professional Engineers , and American
Concrete Institute.
He served from 1963 to 1970 as Chairman of National
Committee for the American Concrete Institute and the
Highway Research Board. He was President of the
Arizona Chapter of the American Concrete Institute
from 1969 to 1970.
On February 19, 1974, he received from the University
of Arizona President 's Club its Creative Teaching
Award.
Currently he is serving on the Board of Directors of
Continental Little League as well as coaching a team
in the League.

Judy Slyter was born in Springfield, Missouri and has been

due to her husbands work.) .Mrs . Slyter attended the University of Arizona where she
majored in Business & public Administration. Later she was a
legal secretary for the Law firm of Cusick, Watkins & Frey.
Judy Slyter has been married tr, Ron Slyter for 17 years
and is the mother of 2 boys, ages 15 and 12. Judy has been a
professional swim teacher for 11
years and has taught students
throughout Pima County. She is an` active member of the Dove
of peace Lutheran Church where she and her husband team teach
the Adult class . Judy is the the Phone Committee for her Alunin
Group of Delta Gam.
