This application is for a modification to Sprint's Existing Array located on an existing 38' Monopole Site.
There will be no changes to the existing Wireless Communication Facility. Application is for minor
enhancements to existing Facility and modification will enhance service for surrounding residences,

perform stated work. All provisions of laws and ordinances governing this type of work will be complied with whether
specified herein or not. The approval of this application does not presume to give authority to violate or cancel the
provisions of any other federal, state or local law for which this project may be subject to.

Description of the Existing Wireless Telecommunications Facility
This application is for a modification to a Sprint's Existing Array located on an Existing 38'
Monopole (herein after referred to as the Existing WTF).
The Existing WTF does and will continue not to have any impact to vehicular or pedestrian pattern
(parking); it does not and will not utilize any connections to any water or sewer system or refuse
collection. The Existing and Proposed equipment does not and will not emit any odor, dust, gas,
noise,vibration,smoke, heat or glare.
Zoning& Land Uses of the Subject Parcel &Adjacent Property
The Existing WTF is situated off E. Tangerine Road and West of N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd. within the Tucson
Electric Power Company enclosure.
The WTF is owned by Tucson Electric Power Co.
Surrounding Land Uses:
The Land Uses of the adjacent parcels is predominantly commercial and residential to the North, East,
South, and West.
Sprint's Antenna Array
> Purpose of Modification
The proposed modification will handle the additional demand for wireless data and voice
service for the surrounding area- particularly for residents, businesses, and emergency
personnel; furthermore, the new antennas and equipment at this site will incorporate the new
E-911 call tracking requirement by the FCC.
• Sprint's Existing Array: Sprint's Existing Array is comprised of the following:
(3) Sprint Antennas mounted at 35'
(3) RRH's in Shelter
(9) 7/8" Coax Cables
(3) Hybriflex Cables
• Sprint's Scope of Work: Permit will cover the following work to be completed:
Install (6) New Antennas, (2) Per Sector
Relocate (3) RRHs
Install (9) New RRH's, (3) Per Sector
Remove Existing (9) 7/8" Coax Cables
Install (4) New 1-1/4" Hybriflex Cable
Install (1) New 5/8" Fiber Line
Sprint's Proposed Array: Sprint's Proposed Array shall be comprised of the following:
(9) Antennas, (3) Per Sector
(12) RRH's, (4) Per Sector
(4) 1-1/4" Hybriflex Cables
(1) 5/8" Fiber Line
Sprint's Compound: Ground Equipment
There will be no change to the size or dimension to the Existing Permanent Shelter as demonstrated on
the Enlarged Site Plan on Sheet Al and the Equipment Plan on Sheet A2 of the Drawings; a photo of the
Permanent Shelter is located on Exhibit"A"
Access to the Antenna's and Sprint's Compound is and will continue to be limited to Authorized
Personnel only.
Conclusion: No Substantial Change-
Sprint's Proposed Modification under this application, as described above and supplemented by the
Drawings, will not Substantially Change the physical dimensions of the Existing WTF — as summarized
below:
No Change to the Centerline of 35'
No Increase in the Height of the Tower—Remain at 38'
All Existing/Proposed Auxiliary Equipment(TMA's, RRH's, Squids, WCF Filters)
Shall be Screened/Installed behind the Antenna
All Existing& Proposed Cables to Run to the Existing Pole

We have revised our proposal for the above referenced site based on the meeting I had with you last month. AsY ou can
see from the attached photosim, we have altered the proposal so that it is more stealth in an effort toualif the site for
a Tier 1 consideration.

The changes from the plan you previously reviewed are as follows:
The remote radio heads (RRH units) have been lowered on the pole to a height below the height of the existing CMU
wall so they cannot be seen from outside of the substation.
The antennas have been designed with a stealth component so that they appear as a more monolithic extension of the
pole rather than individual antennas.
Please review the attached photosim and let me know if this can receive a Tier 1 administrative approval.
