Jan Kvancz,Chair.
O.V. Fire Advisory Board
Dear Jan:
I feel compelled to write this letter to express myfrustrations with trying to gather the
information I need to complete my assessment for the Fire Advlsory Board for the Town of Oro
Valley.
  ,
When we met with Mr: Savage on July 11,1997, he assured me that I would be able to receive all
materials I need from NI. George Good in a timely manner. I called Mr. Good on July 14,1997
ancrequested information on services they provide, cost of those services, and a letter that they
send out to new customers that they are trying to have subscribe. I also requested a conpiete
document of the I.S.O. rating for RuraUMetro since the one I received was a sirgle page with no
indication on the page who this rating was for. I receved a call late afternoon on July 15,1997
telling me Mr. Good received my message and would get me all information required before the
next meeting. To date, I have received nothing(except the original one page I.S.O. rating).

~ Qn July 2, 1997, I received a message at 3:30pm that Mr. Good had the information I requested.
I let a message for Mr. Good on July 21,1997, and another message On 3uly 22, 1997 stating I
would like to get the iformation and I could possible pick it up. I have not been able to pick up
the information due to prior commitments.
I do not know why RuraUMetro can not provide me with the necessary information I have
rquested in a timely maer, but it has placed me in a position where I cannot conplete the task
given to me. I do not knowvhat steps are left for me to take. I fel any information received
now will cause a delay in making our decisions.
. I apolgize to you,the otheboard members, and to the Mayor and Cauncil, for not having the
information we need, but I feel it is out of my hands.
Sincerely,
 .
