Thanks for getting it to members of the council and staff. Take care, and have a safe Labor Day holiday. Dave Aug.28,2014 Mayor Satish I. Hiremath Members of the Oro Valley Town Council Town staff Ladies and Gentlemen, The Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce encourages your support of an amendment to Ordinance (0)14-08, the Tohono Chul Park planned area development. It's Item 2 on Wednesday's regular agenda. Larger festival banners at Tohono Chul would better serve the ultimate purpose — communicating to the thousands of travelers every day on Ina Road, with no adverse impact to the residents of Oro Valley. In fact, these permissions would allow a larger secondary banner for Oro Valley's seal, proudly announcing to all motorists that they are on the edge of Oro Valley, and Tohono Chul Park is within. That's a benefit to the community. We were represented at the neighborhood meeting concerning the banner change, and heard no expressed opposition to the proposal. Our community initiated annexation of Tohono Chul Park. This Chamber member is a terrific asset, and government needs to do all it can to polish a true community gem. Thanks for your time and service.
