Background
At the April 5, 2017 Town Council meeting, staff presented a proposal to build and finance additional sport fields and related amenities at Naranja Park.
Council requested bringing this item back for public comment on April 19, 2017.
Council requested that staff bring back a question for Council consideration to place on the November 7, 2017 ballot for a decision by the Oro Valley registered voters.

Recent History of Naranja Park
In 2014, the Town began the process of updating the (2002/2007) Naranja Park Master Plan
April 2015, Town Council approves the Naranja Park Master Plan Update
December 2015, Town Council approves $2.3 million to start phased development at Naranja Park
June 2016, Town Council approves $350,000 (FY16/17) and $380,000 (FY17/18) for two additional multi-sport fields
November 2016, 70% voter approval of the General Plan
