This is a photo of a shopping center in Oro Valley.
The area in yellow highlights a business location who happens to be at the end of a row the building.
Currently this business must place their A-frame sign 20’ from front door,
The sign must also be 4’ from the curb.
Blue bubble demonstrates possible area allowed for this A-frame sign.
Placing a sign toward Oracle Road traffic not allowed with current or proposed changes
A-frame for this business is ineffective.

Commercial Center Private Road
Maintain public safety and landscaping
Oracle Road
The proposed standards would allow this same business to place their A frame anywhere in the shopping center such as the areas shown in blue.
At no time can they place the sign toward the public street or any other unsafe location and they cannot be removing or damaging landscaping for sign placement.
Therefore eliminating the 20’ maximum and 4’ minimum distances adds location flexibility for this business.
