" organizations; active volunteer in school activities; Girl
Scouts co -leader.
The mother of two children, Darragh, 8, and Kelly, 6, she
has been a resident of Oro Valley for two years.
She is a former counselor with five years experience in
various aspects of mental health, including two years as
the Assistant Placement Director of Colorado Women's
College, Denver.
Pauley Johnson is the president of Johnson Broad-
casting, Inc., an Arizona corporation, and vice-president of
Johnson Newspapers. Inc., a Colorado corporation.

Planning & Development:
ISSUES: We need quick and decisive action if we are to ensure control and tasteful development that will provide the lowest
possible density. The courts won't allow us to deny multi -family uses, but we do have the power to control them.
Taxes:
Oro Valley is in a strong financial position. I see no present
need for a property tax.
Annexation:
Annexation should occur only when it makes sense for a
variety of reasons. Long range planning and environmental
concerns should be considered along with budgetary
questions. Potential revenue should not be the sole factor
in such a decision.
Community Involvement:
I would hope to encourage Oro Valley residents to voice
their opinions on the issues confronting our community. I
feel elected officials need frequent input.
