Hi my name is Jordan Hatfield. I don't want to use a whole bunch of words so I'm just going to ask. Can you please not
put the same restrictions that Tucson put on their people for Oro Valley? I really need to make it to church. I like
morning and night walks. It just really creates a lot of stress and anxiety to put that kind of restriction on me. Specifically
the curfew and no loud music. It just sounds demeaning and feels like an adult talking to a child, to ask that of an adult
human being. So I got nervous and anxious when I saw it Tucson put it into play, because a lot of people felt like their
freedoms were being ripped from them. I love Oro Valley and I hope you have a great day. This message was written
with text -to -speech. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope that this reached the appropriate person. Signed
Jordan A. Hatfield

Updates on Vistoso Golf Course
My name is Bill Sugars and I live at
I plan on logging in to tonight's Town Council meeting and have a question for the Call to Audience.
I noticed that an update on the effort to negotiate with Romspen for the sale of the former Vistoso golf course property
was not on the agenda. Has the Town Council considered appointing a council member to be part of the town staff in
these discussions? Several residents have expressed a desire for timely updates on the progress of these negotiations.
To that end, could a progress report be part of all future General Session Agendas?
Thanks, Bill Sugars

Dear Mr. Vella and Oro Valley Town Council Members,
Dragon Village Restaurant has been in business in the Safeway Shopping Center at First Ave. and Tangerine
Rd for over 17 years. In that time Oro Valley has grown, but online retailers' impact on the local businesses
at our shopping center has greatly outpaced the number of new homes and potential customers near us.
There are many acres of undeveloped commercial land at this intersection that will likely never get built.
With no remaining vacant residential land nearby, I urge you and the Oro Valley Town Council to support
the residential uses proposed in the Silverhawke Block 5 General Plan and Rezoning specifically the casitas,
apartments and townhomes. Those specific plans are the most impactful to get more residents and
customers here to support our local business. We really appreciate your time, efforts and commitment
to make Oro Valley a great community!
Thank you all for your consideration and leadership.
Sincerely,
Billy Choy

Subject: Negotiations with Romspen
My name is Bill Sugars and I live at
Several residents have expressed their desire to have the Town Council appoint one of the council members to work
with the Town Manager and Town lawyer in all aspects of talking with Romspen in regards to purchasing the former Golf
Club at Vistoso property. We recommend that Melanie Barrett be that person.
Since the attempt to purchase the golf course property is not on the agenda, we would like the progress on the next
General Session's agenda so that the residents are kept up to date on the Mayor's motion.
Thanks, Bill Sugars

Dear Mr. Vella,
My name is David Blanchette, and my family has recently moved to Oro Valley from the east side of
Tucson. We have grandchildren that live only a mile away, and we look forward to spending a lot of time
together once the pandemic is over. Since we are new to Oro Valley, it is great to discover that Oro Valley
is such a well planned community, and we are enjoying the close retail centers with a variety of retail
stores to shop and eat.
My family has lived in the metro Tucson area for almost 30 years, and we have seen a lot of progress all
over the county, and I believe that Oro Valley is leading the way. Now that we are home owners, we want
the community to grow and support our local retail businesses. Whenever new residential development
is proposed the focus always seems to be on keeping densities as low as possible. However, I'm sure most
people in Town would rather see reasonable and sensitive development of greater residential densities
that will help our struggling retailers, and maybe even bring in a new restaurant or two! Please support
additional residential development, especially higher density development in locations where impacts to
existing residents would be less. Any of the four residential options (single-family, town homes/condos,
casitas, or apartments) proposed on the Silverhawke Block 5 would be a nice and beneficial addition to
the community.
Best regards,
Oro Valley, Arizon,

Dear Mr. Vella,
CTW-FVP, LLC has been the owner of the Shopping Center located at the SWC of First Ave. and
Tangerine Rd. since it was originally purchased and developed in 2006. In that time Oro Valley has grown,
but online retailers' dampening impact on the brick -and -mortar retail market, has greatly outpaced the
number of new homes and potential customers near us. We have had a difficult time leasing the existing
space at our shopping center, therefore the last thing the Town of Oro Valley needs is additional vacant
commercial buildings at this intersection. Therefore, we implore you to support all additional residential
developments in this area.
Thank you,

To the Oro Valley Town Council,
I appreciate the mayor's motion at the town meeting to help move along resolution of the
Vistoso golf course. I would ask that all agents of Oro Valley continue to assure that this land
be held as open land in perpetuity. This is critical to all residents of Oro Valley.
