RESIDENT WORKING GROUP MEETING AT OR AFTER 5:30 PM
CALL TO ORDER
Principal Planner Milini Simms called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
AGENDA TOPICS
1.DISCUSSION TO HELP CRAFT PARK, RECREATION AND TRAIL GOALS, POLICIES AND ACTIONS
RELATED TO THE COMMUNITY'S NEXT 10-YEAR ACTION PLAN, KNOWN AS OV'S PATH
FORWARD
Ms. Simms presented the following items:
Tonight's Meeting
Goals, Policies and Actions
Parks, Recreation, Trails: Resident Guidance and Draft Guiding Principle
Ground Rules
Helpful Tips
Ms. Simms led the group through a facilitated discussion about the residents' guidance along with the
draft goals, policies, and actions pertaining to:
Trails
Programs and Facilities
Volunteers, Partnerships and Funding
Guiding Principle
The group discussed and reviewed the draft of the goals, policies, actions, and associated guiding
principle to make sure they reflect the resident values, priorities and expectations shared during Phase 1.
At the end of the discussion, the group achieved consensus that they were headed in the right direction
with some revisions.
ADJOURNMENT
Principal Planner Milini Simms adjourned the meeting at 7:31 p.m.
