The Board of Fairfield Rancho Vistoso appointed four residents to review our current
paint palette and to recommend new colors and any changes that should be made.
The Committee members are:
Lynne Wiedebush, Chairperson
Marsha Thrall, Board Representative t..
Isabelle Hendricks
Alice Homstad
Fairfield Rancho Vistoso was developed in the late 90's and the color palette reflects
that era. The committee felt it was time to upgrade and enhance our colors to meet the
new standards of Oro Valley and bring us into the year 2007 and beyond.
The committee spent many hours looking at paint palettes and touring Oro Valley to
identify homes with desert colors that were current and appealing. There were ap-
proximately 24 colors chosen and then Thia Cross Design was consulted to review and
recommend 10 base colors plus trims that would be compatible and would upgrade our
community. Each of these colors comply with the LRV values of Oro Valley.
It is recommended that all the houses be painted with the base color plus the identified
trim. The garage doors would be the base color with the facia and indent walls being
the trim. Our recommendation to the board is to have only one trim color, as identified
with each base.
The existing colors will be eliminated when each house is painted as they are no longer
in the current paint palettes. It is also recommended that no two adjacent houses have
the same color. These colors may also be computer matched by any paint company the
resident may choose.
The color codes are: AF'PROVE
