Denial 1)
Dear Richard Burton,
Engineering review of the proposed covered Porch Addition to the existing Pro Shop Building
has been completed. Review of these building documents is in accordance with the 2012
International Building Code (IBC), Section 106. The following comments are to verify
conformance with all applicable requirements of the IBC, Town of Oro Valley, Pima County,
State of Arizona, and Federal codes, regulations, ordinances, and/or laws:
General Comment
1. The Development and Infrastructure Services Engineering Permitting Department has
completed the first review of these building plans. Please clarify if the proposed new Cart
Parking to be presented on Sheet SP3 is part of this submitted Tenant Improvement
project. Sheet 3 of 3 of the original Development Plan OV1210-07 shows this parking
location and is clouded and identified with Delta 1 similarly to the proposed future covered
Porch Addition. Also, Sheet SP3 is not included within this building plan set. (Town Zoning
Code 22.9.E.2)

2. Please provide additional proposed spot elevations in the locations specified with a red dot
(•). (Town Zoning Code 22.9.E.2)
3. There are numerous locations on this sheet where the cross-slope exceeds 2.0%. To be
ADA compliant, slopes cannot exceed 2.0% in all directions. (2010 ADA: Ch 4:Accesssible
Routes: Sec 403.3)
4. Please make needed corrections to the three (3) steps associated with the stairs on the
right-hand side of Detail A: Enlarged Patio Plan. Please refer to the redlines. (Town Zoning
Code 22.9.E.2)
5. Please provide additional information on the proposed ramp on the left-hand side of Detail
A: Enlarged Patio Plan. Show where the ramp starts and where the ramp stops with its'
corresponding spot elevations. (Town Zoning Code 22.9.E.2)
