EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Oro Valley Cultural Heritage Preservation Plan originally prepared in 2011 was last revised in 2015. This plan, to be reviewed annually, provides a guide for moving forward in developing and maintaining historic properties and programs. The six components are: 1. Public Participation and Heritage Education 2. Historic Steam Pump Ranch 3. Historic Neighborhoods 4. Town History Records and Reports 5. Undeveloped Areas of the Town 6. Honey Bee Village Archeological Preserve As of today’s meeting, the Commissioners will have presented and briefly discussed all six items of the Cultural Heritage Preservation Plan.
