CALL TO AUDIENCE - No comments were received.
STAFF LIAISON REPORT
Chief Financial Officer David Gephart reported on the following:
Recognized Mike Mason for his contributions for five years as Vice Chair, Chair, and a Commissioner on
the Budget and Finance Commission.
Town Council Meeting Agenda Items:
Trails Connect Trails and Paths Master Plan
1st Quarter in Financials
Town Attorney Search
Reminder to Commissioners of the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet
At the last Town Council Meeting:
Council moved forward with noticing for the Town's new proposed tax categories
Council approved a contingency reallocation request in the Capital Fund to authorize Budget
Capacity for the purchase of a new Police Headquarters Building
REGULAR SESSION AGENDA
1.REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE OCTOBER 21, 2025 REGULAR SESSION MEETING MINUTES
Motion by Vice Chair Dan Karlsberg, seconded by Commissioner Michael Mason to approve the
11/18/25 Minutes, Budget and Finance Commission Regular Session 1
Motion by Vice Chair Dan Karlsberg, seconded by Commissioner Michael Mason to approve the
October 21, 2025 regular session meeting minutes.
Vote: 4 - 0 Carried
2.PRESENTATION AND POSSIBLE DISCUSSION OF THE TOWN'S FY25/26 FINANCIAL UPDATE
THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2025 (PLEASE REFERENCE ATTACHMENTS)
Presentation by David Gephart, Chief Financial Officer. Discussion ensued amongst staff and
commissioners.
3.DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO CANCEL DECEMBER 16, 2025 MEETING
Motion by Commissioner Michael Mason, seconded by Vice Chair Dan Karlsberg for approval of
canceling the December 16, 2025 Budget & Finance Commission regular session meeting.
Vote: 4 - 0 Carried
COUNCIL LIAISON COMMENTS
Mayor Winfield provided the following comments:
A thank you to Commissioner Mason for his many years of service.
Would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays.
Extends a personal invitation to the Commissioners of the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and encourages
them to bring their families.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Eloho Okeze, seconded by Vice Chair Dan Karlsberg to adjourn the meeting
at: 4:47 PM
Vote: 4 - 0 Carried
