LA CAÑADA DRIVE            SPECIAL SESSION AT OR AFTER 6:00 PM   CALL TO ORDER   ROLL CALL Present: Matt Wood, Vice Chair Philip Saletta, Member Maureen Sevigny, Member Emily Veres, Member Michael Weisberger, Member Megan Worzella, Member Joanne Moothart, Chair Staff Present: Rosalyn Epting, Parks and Recreation Director Kyle Packer, Senior Planner, Town of Oro Valley Casey Wilson, Recording Secretary Attendees: Joyce Jones-Ivey, Council Liaison DEPARTMENT REPORT ON CURRENT EVENTS    Rosalyn Epting reported the following: Spooktacular was held on 10/25 over 4000 attended On 10/15 town Council approved fee increases There were 2 successful Russian Thistle pulls at Vistoso trails Nature Preserve. There were lots of volunteers that took part. One more will be held on 11/12 Working on obtaining a realtor to sell the donated home, with proceeds to benefit specific areas of the Vistoso Trials Nature Preserve project Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve information is available on the website Continue to work with the consultant on the Desert Ecosystem Restoration project Naranja Park overseeding done, dog parks grass is resting those are not overseeded. This aids in turf rejuvenation 8 new trees were planted at the archery range   COUNCIL LIAISON REPORT ON CURRENT EVENTS    Council Member Joyce Jone-Ivey reported the following: 11/04/2025 Minutes Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Special Session 1  Council Member Joyce Jone-Ivey reported the following: The town has been given a Triple Crown Award for completion and thoroughness of financial reports Water main break repair kudos to the Water Department Rockin for Heros James D. Kreigh Sunday November 9th Invite to Council meeting on 11/5, they will recognize Community Academy graduates   CALL TO THE AUDIENCE    Chair Moothart opened the call to the audience. No speakers were present. Chair Moothart closed the call to the audience.   CONSENT AGENDA   A.REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 9,2025 SPECIAL SESSION MEETING MINUTES       Motioned by Chair Moothart, seconded by Vice Chair Wood to approve the September 9th, 2025 Special Session meeting minutes  Vote: 7 - 0 Carried   REGULAR SESSION AGENDA   1.PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION ON THE 60% DRAFT OF THE OV TRAILS CONNECT TRAILS AND PATHS MASTER PLAN       Kyle Packer presented. Members asked questions. Discussion ensued.   2.CONSIDERATION AND ADOPTION OF CALENDAR YEAR 2026 PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE       Motioned by Chair Moothart, seconded by Vice Chair Wood to approve the Parks and Recreation meeting calendar for 2026.  Vote: 7 - 0 Carried   ADJOURNMENT   I hereby certify that the foregoing minutes are a true and correct copy of the minutes of the regular session of the Town of Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Advisory Board of Oro Valley, Arizona held on the 4th day of November 4, 2025.
