Hi Council, A stoplight at Tangerine & Musette will not only slow the flow along a major artery road in Oro Valley but where Musette intersects Tangerine is a crest on Tangerine. Intersections with a crest are inherently dangerous due to limited visibility. In 19941 was riding a motorcycle along Sunrise Rd. In 1994 the intersection of Sunrise and Campbell had a crest. I was going westbound on Sunrise, straight thru the intersection, and a Fiero was making a left turn onto southbound Campbell. I hit the Fiero and totaled both the motorcycle and car. Tangerine is a high speed through road with access to Interstate 10. A stop light on a sub road such as Naranja is a better choice. Please drop Naranjas speed to 35mph and install a stop light at the Naranja Park entrance. Respectfully, Frank Pitts t 128MIT111MG11111IWI .. Read Carefully. Report phishing. Hi OV Council, I would like for you to consider NOT installing a stop light at Tangerine&Musette. I've lived in Oro Valley most of my life. I've seen the growth along N. Oracle Rd slowly reduce its flow. Oracle has poor traffic flow because of the multiple stop lights. N. Oracle Rd has become a traffic congestion nightmare for our community. Tangerine Rd is amain artery road for Oro Valley. Marana has taken steps to maintain traffic flow along Tangerine by removing a stop light before Thornydale, widening Tangerine and creating right turn only entrances. Please consider making right turn traffic only exiting Musette onto Tangerine and installing a stoplight at Naranja&Musette and reducing Naranjas speed limit to 35mph. Adding a stoplight to Naranja allows for better flow along Tangerine while having little impact on Naranja. Reducing Naranjas speed to 35mph adds additional safety to this parks intersection and added safety to the whole of Naranja Rd. Respectfully, Frank Pitts
