CALL TO ORDER
The study session was called to order at 8:15 a.m.

STUDY SESSION AGENDA
1.DISCUSSION DURING TOUR OF THE PARTNERED AND INDEPENDENT NORTHWEST RECHARGE
RECOVERY AND DELIVERY SYSTEM (NWRRDS)
The following locations and approximate times will be toured:
• 8:30 am: Start at Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Canada Dr.
• 8:45 am: Meet Metro Water Staff at Partnered reservoir and drive to recharge basins and recovery wells
• 9:00 am – 9:15 am: Begin Tour at partnered recovery wells
• 9:15 am – 9:45 am: Tour partnered transmission main to partnered reservoir
• 9:45 am – 10:00 am: Tour partnered reservoir
• 10:00 am – 10:15 am: Tour independent booster station
• 10:15 am – 10:45 am: Tour independent transmission main
• 11:00 am – 11:15 am: Tour independent Shannon Rd. reservoir
• 11:30 am - 12:45 pm: Lunch at Overlook Restaurant

RESUME STUDY SESSION IN THE HOPI CONFERENCE ROOM AT OR AFTER 1:00 PM
2.DISCUSSION REGARDING THE NWRRDS FACILITY TOUR
Discussion on tour sights was initiated by Water Utility Director Peter Abraham. Discussion ensued
among the Commission. Mr. Abraham thanked the Commission for their attendance and participation in
the tour.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Vice Chair Joe Hornat, seconded by Commissioner Niranjan Vescio to adjourn the meeting at 1:50
p.m.
Vote: 7 - 0 Carried
