A wide range of projects and programs may be eligible for WCGF funding. Some examples include: Construction of groundwater storage facilities Community education initiatives about wise water use Projects to promote groundwater recharge and imported aquifer health Staff submitted an application for the NWRRDS program as a program facilitating coordinated water management, including groundwater storage and recovery. The Water Infrastructure Financing Authority (WIFA) staff approved the application to move forward to the Water Conservation Grant Fund Committee (WCGFC). The WCGFC approved the application to move forward to the WIFA board for consideration for funding approval. After much deliberation the WIFA board recommended that the Utility’s application be placed as a future agenda item for consideration at a future date. Thank You
