LA CANADA DRIVE CALL TO ORDER AT OR AFTER 6:00 P.M. Chair Sakellar called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Dino Sakellar, Chair Richard Luckett, Vice Chair Gil Alexander, Member Nathan Basken, Member Harold Linton, Member Richard Eggerding, Member Kit Donley, Member David Atler, Member EXCUSED: Rachel Childers, Member ALSO PRESENT: Lou Waters, Councilmember PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Chair Sakellar led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. CALL TO AUDIENCE Chair Sakellar opened the Call to Audience with no speakers. 1. REVIEW AND/OR APPROVAL OF THE MARCH 13, 2012 MEETING MINUTES MOTION: A motion was made by Gil Alexander, Member and seconded by Harold Linton, Member to approve the March 13, 2012 Meeting Minutes. MOTION carried, 8-0. 2. CONCEPTUAL MODEL HOME ARCHITECTURE FOR THE RIVER'S EDGE SUBDIVISION, LOCATED ON LAMBERT LANE, WEST OF FIRST AVENUE (OVI 31 204) 05/08/2012 Conceptual Design Review Board Page 1 of 3 Rosevelt Arellano, Planner, presented the following: Conceptual Architecture Review Location Map - River's Edge Site Map Context: Contemporary Southwest Previously Approved Architecture: River's Edge Applicant's Proposal Typical Design Features Elevation A Typical Design Features Elevation B Typical Design Features Elevation C Architectural Design Principles Addendum "A" Design Standards Conditions of Approval Attachment 3 Summary Michael Del Castillo, representing the applicant Richmond Homes, presented a brief overview of the project. MOTION: A motion was made by David Atler, Member and seconded by Gil Alexander, Member to approve with conditions Model Home Architecture (Plan T271 - Express) for River's Edge, subject to the conditions specified in Attachment#1, finding that the proposed Model Home Architecture meets the applicable Zoning Code Review criteria. ATTACHMENT#3 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL RIVER'S EDGE MODEL HOMES OV1312-04 May 8,2012 1. The applicant shall provide a low level pop out ten (10)feet in length along the sides of Elevations B and C. A shorter pop out may be provided if a sidewall fence return is located within the front ten (10) feet. 2. The Lot Fit Analysis Sheet shall identify a 20'front setback from the property line. MOTION carried, 8-0. 3. PLANNING MANAGER'S UPDATE (INFORMATIONAL ONLY) David Williams, Planning Manager, presented the following First Community Academy is May 17, 2012 Encantada at Steam Pump was approved by Town Council May 9th there will be a community open house on Truck Routes in Oro Valley May 10th there will be an applicant hosted Neighborhood Meeting for Fry's Gas Station Canada Hills Shopping Center on agenda for June 05/08/2012 Conceptual Design Review Board Page 2 of 3 The Town filed for annexation on the west side of Oracle Road, between the Town boundary and Ina Road ADJOURNMENT MOTION: A motion was made by Richard Luckett, Vice Chair and seconded by Kit Donley, Member to adjourn the meeting at 6:23 p.m. MOTION carried, 8-0.
