CALL TO ORDER REGULAR SESSION AT OR AROUND 6:00 P.M.
Chairman Gribb called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chairman Gribb led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
CALL TO THE AUDIENCE
Open and closed without comment.
CONSENT AGENDA
A. Review and/or approval of the January 12, 2010, DRB meeting minutes.
B. OV13-09-23, Merle Sampson represented by Robinson Custom Homes,
Inc., requests approval of architectural elevations for a two-story guest
house at 13350 N. Kachina Drive, within the La Cholla Airpark subdivision,
Parcel # 219-23-0130. For questions and additional information, please
contact Matt Michels, Senior Planner, at (520) 229-4822 or
mmichels@orovalleyaz.gov.
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Luckett and seconded by Member
Shelton to approve the Consent Agenda.
MOTION carried, 6-0.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. OV1307-29, Wright-Pantano, LLC represented by Larry Click & Associates
requests approval of architectural elevations for Checkers Auto building,
Entrada de Oro Shopping Center at southwest corner of Oracle Road and
Magee Road, Parcel # 225-50-0030. For questions and additional
information, please contact Karen Berchtold, Acting Principal Planner, at
(520) 229-4814or kberchtold@orovalleyaz.gov.
Brett Davis, non resident, representing Ray Pantano LLC., said the shopping
center was constructed in 1980 and the design was typical for that time. The
developer would like to update this section.
Larry Click, non resident, of Larry Click & Associates, reviewed the following:
- Architectural Design
Mr. Davis said approving the request would allow the developer to lease 3 more
suites of retail, increasing sales tax revenue for the Town and providing a better
view for the citizens.
Karen Berchtold, OV Acting Principal Planner, presented the following:
- Context
- Building close up
- Architectural Design
- Staff recommends approval
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Shelton and seconded by Member
Luckett to approve OV13-07-29, architecture for Checkers Auto building, subject
to the conditions in exhibits A & B.
MOTION carried, 6-0.
2. Planning and Zoning update.
Karen Berchtold said there are four Planning & Zoning related items for the
February 17, 2010, Town Council meeting.
Ms. Berchtold introduced David Ronquillo as the new staff liaison for DRB.

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Shelton and seconded by Member
Luckett to adjourn at 6:19 p.m.
MOTION carried, 6-0.
