REGULAR SESSION

CALL TO ORDER REGULAR SESSION AT OR AFTER 6:00 P.M.
Chairman Schoeppach called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chairman Schoeppach led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
CALL TO THE AUDIENCE
Open and closed without comment.
1. Approval of the September 14, 2010 and October 12, 2010 DRB minutes.
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Luckett and seconded by Member Shelton to
approve the September 14, 2010 and October 12, 2010 DRB minutes.
MOTION carried, 5-0
2. Architectural elevations for custom home, Robert & Josephine Switz represented
by Robinette Architects, Inc., located at 14376 N. Travertine Road, Stone Canyon
subdivision, Parcel No. 219-19-3400. OV1310-12
Rob Robinette, non OV resident, of Robinette Architects, Inc. said a portion of the home
is two stories and is contained within the central portion of the home. The portion of the
house that is two stories represents twelve percent of the entire roof structure. The
project has gone through review using the setbacks and height requirements for OV. In
addition the project will have to go through more restrictive setbacks and height
requirements for the subdivision review.
Karen Berchtold, OV Senior Planner, presented the following:

- Recommendation
Ms. Berchtold noted that the varying angles of the building mass and roof elements help
reduce impact, and staff recommends approval.
Member Luckett commented that this is a very elegant house and of a quality he hopes
to see more of in OV. This is the kind of architecture he believes belongs in OV. This
type of design is in place for contemporary residential architecture; he wishes to see
commercial and private development take on this character.
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Luckett and seconded by Member Shelton to
approve OV1310-12, architectural elevations for custom home, Robert & Josephine
Switz represented by Robinette Architects, Inc., located at 14376 N. Travertine Road,
Stone Canyon subdivision, subject to the conditions in Exhibit A.
MOTION carried, 5-0
3. Planning Division Manager update.
David Williams, OV Planning Manager, presented the following update:
-AT&T mobility update
- ESL
- Code amendments
- Recreation Area requirements
- Sun City Vistoso development plan recreation center
- St. Mark's rezoning
- Matt Michels certification
- Architecture approval for commercial building on Lambert and La Canada
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Luckett and seconded by Member Shelton to
adjourn the DRB meeting at 6:16 p.m.
