Riley, P.E. Town Engineer SUBJECT: Request of Colony at Oro Valley Homeowners Association for Acceptance of Streets. SUMMARY: I have received a request from the Colony at Oro Valley Homeowners Association for the public acceptance of the existing private streets within this subdivision. The streets which were completed and inspected by Oro Valley approximately 4 years ago, were developed as private subdivision streets. The HOA has agreed to seal coat the streets at their expense prior to _ acceptance by the Town Council. Should the Town accept the streets, we would need to require that the ownership, operation and maintenance of the private sanitary sewer system remain with the Homeowners Association. The documents have been prepared accordingly. ATTACHMENTS: Quit Claim Deed Letter form Colony at Oro Valley HOA RECOMMENDATIONS: I would recommend acceptance of these streets subject to ownership, operation and maintenance of the private sanitary sewer system continuing with the Homeowners Association and transfer of title for Common Area A to the Town of Oro Valley.
